Moto Guzzi Brings Italian Style to Sturgis

2017 Sturgis Motorcycle Rally: Moto Guzzi Demo & Display

Last year, Moto Guzzi made a bold statement by launching its first-ever bagger, the MGX-21 Flying Fortress, during Sturgis Motorcycle Rally. In the land of American V-twins, Moto Guzzi set up shop at the heart of Sturgis, South Dakota—on Main Street.

The success of last year’s event—the first Sturgis event for the 96-year-old brand—brought Moto Guzzi back to the same location for 2017 Sturgis Motorcycle Rally, which runs Friday, August 4th, through Saturday, August 12th.

Sturgis attendees can visit the Moto Guzzi factory display at 1435 Main Street (at 4th) in Sturgis, where the full range of 2017 models will be available for demos. The motorcycle manufacturer from Mandello del Lario, Italy, is offering all demo riders an added incentive via email.

The highlight of the show for the Sturgis crowd is the MGX-21 Flying Fortress, which is our most technologically-advanced bike. This MGX-21, built to cater to the American bagger fan, was created by the iconic Miguel Galluzzi, who also designed the Ducati Monster, Aprilia Dorsoduro, plus the Moto Guzzi V7 Racer and California 1400. The MGX-21 arrives with three riding modes, three traction-control modes (plus off) and ABS.

Other Moto Guzzis available for demo include the California 1400 Touring, Eldorado 1400 and Audace 1400 cruisers, V9 Roamer and V9 Bobber, and the new lineup of V7 III mid-range cruisers.
